Delightex Troubleshooting

This page covers common Delightex errors and issues. Find your message below and follow the steps to resolve it. If none of these solutions work, contact support.

Delightex Not Loading

Possible causes: The Hello World server or the Delightex site may be temporarily down.

What to do:

Message: "Nothing to see here!"

If you see this message in the Delightex window, there are three common causes:

1. You're logged into a teacher account

Teacher accounts cannot view team projects created by students. Switch to a student account or check the section setup to verify project assignments.

2. Students haven't been assigned to groups

Team projects require students to be placed in groups before they can access and collaborate. Assign students to groups in their section: learn how to group students in Delightex.

3. The assignment was removed or no longer exists

Check your Delightex dashboard to confirm the assignment is still available. If it was deleted, you may need to reassign or recreate it.

Message: "You've been logged out"

Cause: Delightex only supports one active login session per account. Another device or browser tab is logged in to this account.

What to do: Make sure all other devices are logged out of Delightex. If this continues, contact support.

Message: "Failed to load Delightex account, activity not available"

Cause: This student has not been onboarded into their class in Delightex.

What to do: Contact support to get this resolved.

Remixed Projects Saved to a Previous Class

Cause: When remixing a project, students choose which class playground to save it to. The student either selected an old class or didn't notice the default selection and clicked Remix without changing it.

What to do: Have the student remix the project again and select the correct current class playground. Contact support if further help is needed.

Restoring Version History

If a student's project needs to be rolled back to a previous version:

  1. In your Hello World teacher account, navigate to the Section's Gradebook and select the student's project
  2. In the Scoring View, look at the Delightex iframe and click the Home icon (top left)
  3. From the Delightex Class Homepage, find the correct project assignment folder
  4. Locate the student's project inside that folder
  5. Click the three dots in the lower right corner of the project
  6. Select "Version history"
  7. Preview available versions to identify the correct one
  8. Select the version you want to restore and click "Restore"
