As AI reshapes how we learn, work, and create, students need a foundation for understanding how AI works and how to use it responsibly. AI Literate Now delivers that foundation through a shared, classroom-ready learning experience.

Build Foundational AI Literacy

Students learn how AI works, its limitations, and how human judgment and ethics guide responsible use through projects.

Two Ways to Participate

AI Literate Now offers two participation models designed to support both individual educators and district-wide initiatives.

Teacher-Led

Educators can bring AI Literate Now into their classroom with open access to the projects and educator materials, enabling students to participate through structured, classroom-ready AI learning.

District-Led

Districts can bring schools together through a shared AI literacy initiative, creating district-wide momentum as students participate in a challenge with opportunities for recognition and competition.

Recognition Beyond the Classroom

After completing the classroom challenge, educators and districts may choose to extend participation through recognition opportunities that celebrate student work and learning.

National Student Project Competition

Select projects are recognized alongside peers from across the country as part of a shared national AI literacy challenge.

AI Literate Now™  Summit

Selected students are invited to a three-day national summit in Cambridge, MA, with learning experiences connected to Harvard and MIT.
Travel, lodging, and select meals are covered for invited students and one parent or guardian.
